Post Assembly Classroom Discussion with Cary
Whether about bullying, treating each other with kindness, or a combination of both, students will gain a deeper understanding of what they can do to stop bullying or to be a leader of kindness among their peers.
These After-Assembly Discussions are effective as short 20-30-minute visits to accommodate several classes after a morning assembly. They are formatted as an informal Q&A session, although planned instruction is weaved into his answers. All class visits are tailored to the age, and humor is included to add enjoyment to the visit.
Arrange these classroom visits following the assembly, on subsequent days, or as stand-alone visits without assemblies. Inquire about booking one, two, or several days for this beneficial and rewarding experience.

Staging Tips
Although Cary's staging setup is simple, please ensure that the audience can see him clearly from head to toe, as you would arrange for a dancer. If the stage is low, consider seating the students directly on the floor without chairs.
Good lighting onto the front of the stage (similar to the accompanying photo) will greatly enhance the performance.
If Cary's performance space is on the floor with the students, please do not wrap the audience around the performance area in a U shape (so that they are not viewing from a direct side angle).
If in a Gymnasium: Please use only one wall of bleachers so Cary performs at the center basketball circle to one side. Normal gym lighting is perfect. If seating overflows onto the floor in front of the bleachers, please seat them directly on the floor without chairs, not exceeding 300 (Viewing Cary from head to toe is imperative).
Sound: Please provide a sound system in the performance area with a mic and an aux input for Cary to use for his soundtrack (Although using your sound tech from the sound booth is okay).
